Yes, I left my phone in a Singapore cab, when I tried calling it, the new owner answered it then turned it off on me.

I have to say the staff at the Ritz Carlton were superb, extremely helpfull and sympathetic, we were even given complimentary drinks and chocolates for our trouble.

No good will come of your new phone, and if you are ever apprehended, you will get flogged by the authorities in Singapore, I will fly out specially and take a front row seat to watch.
